Ashley graduated as an Osteopath from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 2010 and began working in 2 different clinics, both of which were vastly different; one location was a mixed martial arts gym and the other was a tranquil complimentary health clinic. Both locations gave Ashley plenty of experience in different settings and have allowed him to work with people of all ages, sizes and complaints but he mostly treats sports injuries from martial arts, runners and triathletes.
While studying, Ashley worked as a personal trainer in some of London’s biggest health clubs, gaining some great results, but he insists that the clients themselves are the ones to congratulate as without their own hard work they wouldn’t have got the results! He still does personal training but only with a few people at a time and mainly for rehabilitation reasons.
Ashley’s approach to treating patients is very structural with naturopathic inputs where appropriate. He is particularly interested in modern day diseases such as heart disease, cholesterol issues and Type 2 diabetes and has had great results combining osteopathy with nutrition, lifestyle and exercise.
With the history of personal training, Ashley has the knowledge to design and take you through a rehabilitation programme using the fitness studio located downstairs in the clinic.
When Ashley is not working as a therapist he may be found working out in the gym, on a bike or in the pool and if he is not doing any of those he is probably in a coffee shop enjoying a strong coffee.
